Hello,

I am Dorrina Aghhavani Shajari, a lifelong resident of Calabasas, California, and someone deeply committed to serving the community where I grew up.

My journey in the legal field began at fifteen years old as an after-school intern at a civil law firm in Encino, California. Over the years, I remained committed to providing organized, accurate, and respectful customer service.

Working in law firms across Los Angeles County gave me experience supporting attorneys and clients on both the defense and plaintiff sides of civil matters. That background informs my administrative approach, but it does not make me an attorney.

Today, I am a registered and bonded Legal Document Assistant and a registered Process Server in Los Angeles County, as well as a commissioned California Notary Public. Through Opsequium, I provide customer-directed document preparation, process serving, court filing, document retrieval and delivery, and notarial services. All legal document preparation is completed solely from each customer’s specific instructions and information.

Background and Continuing Education

I hold degrees in Law, Public Policy, and Society; Behavioral Sciences; and Arts and Humanities. My academic interests include public policy, civic engagement, and community service. I am currently awaiting a law school admissions decision and plan to continue my studies with the long-term goal of becoming licensed to practice law in California.

My Legal Document Assistant services are limited to the self-help services permitted to a registered Legal Document Assistant under California law. I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice or representation, including advice, explanations, opinions, or recommendations about legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, selection of forms, or legal strategies.

Community and Volunteer Work

Serving my community is an important part of my life. I believe meaningful change happens when people actively participate in strengthening the communities around them.

I serve on the board of the Calabasas Community Foundation and volunteer with the City of Calabasas at the Calabasas Senior Center. I also participate in Emergency Preparedness in Calabasas-Fire Safe Council (EPIC-FSC) and volunteer with the Arson Watch program.

These roles allow me to support my neighbors, strengthen local connections, and contribute to a safer, more prepared community. Community engagement is an extension of the values that guide Opsequium Legal Support Solutions.
